DNB Spare kickstarted DNBs new focus on mobile apps. Spare aims to encourage the ‘average Joe’ to save in stocks and funds.
The project
Most people save for ‘rainy days’, holidays and other things. However, most people save by putting money in a bank account. With inflation, your savings actually become less over the years. In order to encourage people to save in stocks and funds, DNB decided to make an app in order to make it more accessible and easier to understand.
The solution
DNB Spare was developed as a native Android and iOS app. The app was a high profile project for DNB and was launched to great success. Feedback from users was very positive, highlighting an intuitive interface and easy to use.
