The project

Hjelp utland is a medical emergency app for the Norwegian air ambulance’s more than 700 000 members. The app gives users medical emergency phone numbers to the whole world, the closest Norwegian embassy as well as the Norwegian air ambulance’s own emergency hotline. The app also gives members free sms-alerts for selected countries if natural disaster, disease outbreak or other important incidents were to happen in your area.

The app’s design is influenced by google’s material design, with slight differences in interaction design in order to stay true to native functionality and behavior. The app is a cross platform app for both android and iOS, developed with Xamarin.
